Face to face contact still the preference by most customers
My number of years in the industry suggests that majority of customers still prefers face-to-face contact when they want to decide on which agent to market their property. With the face to face strategy you can explain and demonstrate the steps and marketing strategy which best suites the customer's property and the strategy you which to adopt in managing the client's expectations. With this in mind you are able to learn more about the clients needs and most importantly build a relationship with them. Though other forms of contacts and communication exists they are less popular. With a high street presence your customers have the added advantage of meeting you in your office or in the comfort of their home. Whilst we have a very strong internet presence and marketing budget, in my experience I can also confirm that our offices are the main way that most of our clients have come into contact with the Top-Move brand and as an estate agency that's committed to providing our clients with a strong network of high street offices, that's really positive". Whilst we maintain a high street presence, we are also keeping inline and adapting to changing times by offering a flexible service where customers can contact us by other means that suits them. My contact with the certain generations clearly depicts that age group preferences comes from lifestyle and familiarity with certain technologies.
